How to print blacker

Do you confuse why your picture looks black on computer, but not black enough after printed?i would like to tell you why.

Simply computer shows RGB(red, green and blue) color mode, but the printer uses CMYK(cyan, magenta, yellow and black) color mode. When the two color modes switch, color may run off.For example,CMYK0,0,0,100 looks solid black on computer, but it turns out to be brown after printed.

Now you may want to change your picture’s color to CMYK100,100,100,100 before printing. However,i suggest you not do so.Because printing usually uses inkjet tech, too many CMYK values may cause problems in printing such as hard to dry.

After so much introduction,i m going to recommend some CMYK values for printing black. We do some experiments and get conclusions. If you want to get a rich black, you can use CMYK50,50,50,100 to print. Also you can choose color tone. For a cool black, you can use more C and less M,Y in CMYK values. For a warm black, you can use more M,Y and less C conversely.By the way, these CMYK values are better for large ink coverage printing.CMYK0,0,0,100 can be used in text edition. It is black enough in text.

At last, you are suggested to printed a small sample as preview before placing a big order or important one.Hope this article is useful for you.
